Douglas Pharmaceuticals awarded U.S. patent supporting innovative HPV treatment programme

Douglas Pharmaceuticals has been granted a new U.S. patent covering pharmaceutical compositions that underpin DARE-HPV, an investigational treatment for persistent high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) infection.

The patent strengthens the intellectual property supporting the DARE-HPV programme, which is currently being evaluated in a Phase 2 clinical study in the United States. DARE-HPV is based on technology developed by Douglas and licensed to Daré Bioscience for U.S. development and commercialisation.
