We are proud to share that Douglas Pharmaceuticals has successfully completed its 6th annual audit for Toitū Carbon Reduce certification.

Since our 2019 base year, Douglas has achieved a 31% reduction in total emissions. Furthermore, we have seen a reduction in emissions intensity of 9.61 tCO2e/$M (based on a 5-year rolling average), demonstrating Douglas is becoming more "carbon efficient" as the business grows.

Our strategy is rooted in making tangible operational shifts rather than relying solely on carbon offsets. We are focused on three key pillars:

• Logistics: Strategically reducing our reliance on airfreight.

• Infrastructure: Committing capital investment to transition our facilities away from natural gas.

• Maintenance: Implementing proactive measures to minimize emissions from refrigerants.

By maintaining this ISO-aligned, internationally recognised standard, Douglas is proud to provide our international partners with third-party verified assurance that our sustainability claims are robust and credible.
