Whether you are mixing products, cleaning machinery, or packing the finished product, there is always a strict procedure that needs to be followed and recorded.

You will work with our top-of-the-line production equipment to ensure that batches are exact and consistent. You set up, run, troubleshoot, and maintain all our pieces of kit so they run like a dream.

Production Operators – are the makers in our Manufacturing operation. They control the operation of chemical production equipment to produce quality products. We look for people who are curious to learn, care about health and safety at work, and take pride in doing a great job.

Our Operators work various fixed shifts with no rotating rosters which gives awesome predictability. We have day shift (7.30 am – 3.30 pm), afternoon shift (3.45 pm – 11.45 pm) and night shift (11.30 pm – 7.30 am). The additional shift and meal allowances for afternoon and night shift are pretty great too!

Our Quality teams are comprised of Quality Control and Quality Assurance. They work relentlessly to ensure our products are safe and continue to perform to the high standards we’re known for and that our customers expect.

Quality Control

Quality Control at Douglas is tasked with ensuring the efficacy, purity and safety of our products from the delivery of ingredients to the last packed batch out the door.

Quality is not an accident; it is the outcome of rigorous and dedicated intelligent efforts. Our goal is to ensure that our products uphold the pinnacle of satisfaction and safety for both our clients and their patients. This is achieved by the monitoring and testing of our products and their components in accordance with regulations, standards and specifications.

We regularly recruit:

Our QC Analysts are usually science qualified, and have experience in a laboratory-based environment and will be testing laboratory samples in line with GMP and GLP requirements. We would love if you have instrumentation experience like HPLC and GC, and are curious to learn and are collaborative.

Our Analysts work various fixed shifts which gives awesome predictability. We have day shift (7.30 am – 3.30 pm), afternoon shift (3.45 pm – 11.45 pm) and night shift (11.30 pm – 7.30 am). The additional shift and meal allowances for afternoon and night shift are pretty great too!

Quality Assurance

Our team of Quality Assurance (QA) specialists are the experts on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). QA governs our license to operate as compliance with GMPs is a non-negotiable for health authorities (MedSafe, US FDA, EMA, etc.) in the countries where Douglas products are sold. We work together with all our different departments from New Product Development to Production, Supply Chain, Validation and Engineering to make a positive impact for our customers around the world.

We regularly recruit:

QA Officers – their responsibilities are very broad. They review manufacturing and packaging documentation for batch release, review validation documentation of processes, equipment and installations; and handle customer complaints. They also follow up on root cause analysis when quality events happen and perform periodic reviews on our products. All the activities performed within QA support compliance with GMPs and ensure products are fit for purpose. We like our QA Officers to be science degree qualified, have strong knowledge of GMP and validation, and have a passion for quality, detail and documentation.

Senior QA Officers – in addition to the above, our Senior Officers tend to have experience with managing projects, mentoring team members, taking the lead on internal and external audits, managing key stakeholders, improving processes and leading quality investigations. You will need to have experience in the QA space, preferably in a GMP environment for our Senior roles.
